About course:

Who doesn’t love bangles? Wear them solo or stack them up, bangles are perfect for every occasion and really fun to make!

During this course you will make one classic bangle from recycled sterling silver, finished in a choice of textures to make it unique. You will also have the option to flatten a small section and add a hand stamped detail such as initials or a heart.

Using a range of traditional silversmithing techniques including piercing, filing, soldering, hammering and polishing, you will end this workshop with a beautiful bangle to wear with pride!

Is this workshop right for me?

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, I will take you through each step so no previous experience is necessary.

Please be aware that making jewellery can be tough on the hands and does require good eyesight. If this is something you are concerned about please do get in touch to discuss this.

For your safety, I ask you to please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you wear suitable clothing including no floaty or loose sleeves etc and closed toe shoes. Jewellery making can also be a bit messy so don’t wear your best outfit!

It can also get a little chilly in the studio as I open the windows for ventilation so please bring a jumper or similar.

Jewellery making does require the use of some hazardous chemicals, for more information about these please see my Workshops FAQS page or get in touch with any questions.

If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy please let me know before your workshop and I can discuss your options if you have any concerns.
