Delivery & Returns


DELIVERY INFORMATION

 

All online shop items are dispatched within 3-5 working days (unless stated otherwise).

Bespoke items are dependent on design and a time frame will be agreed during consultation.

Need something in a hurry? Get in touch and I will try my best to get it to you quickly.

After 3 - 5 working day processing time, delivery aims are below:


UK 

  • FREE UK delivery for orders over £40
  • Orders under £40 sent via Royal Mail First Class Signed For service for £2.95 (1-2 day delivery aim) 
  • Orders £40 - £95 sent via Royal Mail First Class Signed For service FREE  (1-2 day delivery aim)
  • Orders over £95 - sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery service FREE (next day delivery aim)

 

Please note - bespoke orders and items purchased from my Portscatho shop (not currently available on the online store) are not eligible for free delivery, P&P will be agreed upon when placing an order. 



EUROPE

Signed for delivery options will need to be signed for in person, so please state a delivery address where you will be present at the time of delivery.

Items will only be dispatched once payment has been approved. I will send you an email to confirm your order and another to notify you once it has been sent out. On the rare occasion that there is a delay to dispatching your order, I will notify you by email and you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. 

 

** International delivery -  any customs duties, taxes or additional charges encountered on arrival into your destination country will be the customers responsibility. I operate on a DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) basis. International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and Alice Rhiannon Jewellery cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal service or customs checks. **

 

Late or Lost Deliveries


If your order does not arrive within the stated delivery times please contact me. 

I am not able to refund or replace items that have been lost by Royal Mail until 20 days have passed since the date of dispatch, or 30 days in the case of international delivery - this is when Royal Mail classes items as being lost. Alice Rhiannon Jewellery is not liable and cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur once orders have been posted. 

 

Packaging

 

All of my packaging is made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable. My custom jewellery boxes are made from 100% recycled material - even the eco-fibre inserts are made from 100% recycled cotton. They are perfect for gift giving and keeping your jewellery safe, or can be fully recycled. Items are packaged in recycled and recyclable tissue paper, eco friendly raffia ribbon, and postage bags made from biodegradable manilla material. 


My gift wrap option is inspired by the Japanese present wrapping art of furoshiki, and uses recycled fabric handmade into unique fabric wraps. These are made from either vintage fabric or recycled fabric which has been hand dyed using eco-friendly natural dyes. Not only do they look very beautiful, but they are reusable either for wrapping future gifts or transforming into something else entirely.  



RETURNS POLICY

 

I hope that you will love your order from Alice Rhiannon Jewellery. However, if you have any queries or a problem with any order please get in contact and I will be happy to help.


Exchanges and refunds

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with an item, I am happy to offer an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving your order. 

For exchanges and refunds to be accepted, items must be returned unworn, in perfect condition and their original packaging. 

Please email me to request a return before posting any items. I am unable to accept returns that have not been agreed prior to postage.

Please note that the cost of shipping is non-refundable.


Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Items which are exempt from my refund and exchange policies (unless damaged or faulty), and unable to be returned include:

  • All earrings, including hoops and studs, for hygiene reasons
  • Any item which has been personalised or uniquely made for you 
  • All bespoke items 

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items.


How to return or exchange your order

  • Begin by emailing me within 7 days of receipt or order to let me know that you would like to return an item. I am unable to accept returns that have not been agreed prior to postage.
  • Post the item back to me in its original packaging with your order number, full name and address included. 
  • For your own protection, I recommend that you send the parcel using a recorded delivery service which insures you for the value of the items, e.g. Royal Mail Signed For. I am not liable for any postage costs incurred by you when returning unsuitable items, and cannot be held responsible for any postal delays or returned items lost or damaged in the post. 
  • I will notify you once I have received your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Returning Faulty Items


Each piece is made and packaged with care, but in the event of your order arriving faulty or damaged please contact me within 5 days and I’ll be happy to make it right.

Please then return the piece to me for replacement or repair as appropriate. I will refund any  reasonable postage costs incurred by you. 

You can always contact me for any questions about returns.


Repairs 


If your jewellery suffers damage, in many cases I am able to repair it. 

If within 6 months of purchase, there is a genuine fault with an item, please return it to me and I will repair it free of charge. Broken chains are not included. However, if the damage is deemed to be caused by the wearer e.g. chemical reactions, slept in, pulling etc. a charge will be incurred. After 6 months, a small charge will apply for jewellery repairs.
