Size Guide
Bangle Sizes:
I offer three size options for all bangles (measured by internal diameter):
- Small - 6cm diameter/ 18.9cm circumference
- Medium - 6.5cm diameter/ 20.4cm circumference (standard most common size in the UK)
- Large - 7cm diameter/ 22 circumference
To help to reduce waste, each bangle is made to order so if you have any queries or would like an alternate size then please do get in touch.
Please note - the Wild Wave and Ripple bangles are irregular shapes and so will not be the same size all around, the size refers to the widest diameter.
The two best ways to work out your bangle size:
- Measure a bangle you already own
The easiest way to find the right size is to measure a bangle which you already own and are happy with the fit of.
Measure the internal diameter of the bangle. Then determine which of the sizes offered above will be most suitable.
- Measure your hand
Using a measuring tape or a piece of string you can work out the best bangle size.
Bangle size is actually determined by the size of your hand, rather than wrist. To measure, tuck your thumb into the palm of your hand as far as you can, as you would if you were putting on a bangle.
Wrap the tape or string around the widest part of your hand, ensuring it is pulled tightly to get an accurate reading.
Record the size, or if using string measure it against a ruler and record. This will give you the circumference measurement which you can then compare to the size guide above. I would recommend choosing the size up from your measurement, rather than down, as if the measurement is correct you likely won’t fit anything smaller.
Resizing:
If your bangle does not fit as you’d like, I offer a resizing service (labour and delivery costs will be charged). Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this via hello@alicerhiannonjewellery.com.
